BOTTLED LIGHTNING

Director and Creator

I was working with the band AWOLNATION to help release their latest album "Angel Miners and the Lightning Riders." I created the album cover art as well as directed a music video for the hit song "Slam." All of this happened right at the beginning of COVID. 

I really enjoyed working with the band and the label and I wanted to continue to help with the marketing of the album. The entire tour was canceled so social media as all we had. 

I created a unique type of story telling that would take place on Instagram story's and would be directed virtually. There was a script and each band member would shoot their scenes in their apartments on green screens or outside. 

The final result was a really fun marketing campaign that ran for about two months and the fans loved it! I really enjoyed the challenge of making something remote.
